Restaurant · San Leandro & Oakland

Pupusería Las Palmas.

Two beloved East Bay locations, lines out the door, and not a single page on the internet to call their own. This is the story of a 72-hour fix.

01 · The business

The kind of place you find by word of mouth.

Pupusería Las Palmas is Salvadoran cooking the way it's supposed to be done: pupusas pressed by hand, mariscos, desayunos, the plates that taste like home if home is El Salvador. One location on San Leandro Boulevard, a second on International Boulevard in Oakland, both open every day of the week.

The food had already done the hard part. Regulars, real reviews, two busy counters. What the restaurant had earned in the neighborhood, it had nowhere to show online.

02 · The gap

Invisible at the exact moment people choose.

When someone decides where to eat tonight, the decision happens on a phone. 77% of diners check a restaurant's website before deciding where to eat, and nearly 7 in 10 say a restaurant's web presence has actively discouraged them from visiting. 76% of people who search "near me" walk into a business within a day.

Las Palmas had no website at all. Every one of those searches ended at a competitor, or at a thin map listing with no menu, no story, and no reason to choose them. The gap wasn't quality. It was visibility.

03 · The build

72 hours, first conversation to live site.

We built the site the way the restaurant runs: Spanish first, with an English toggle one tap away. The full menu, both locations with hours and phone numbers, their real reviews pulled in, and photography that makes you hungry before you've finished scrolling.

The brand came from what they already owned: the red of their signage and the blue of the Salvadoran flag on a warm cream canvas, with their palm-tree emblem redrawn clean for the web. No template. Their site could belong to no one else.

"Sabor de casa, hecho a mano." The site leads with their own promise, in their own language.
04 · The launch

Live this month, and working.

pupuserialaspalmas.com went live in July 2026. Now the searches that used to end nowhere end at a menu, a map, and two open doors. The restaurant that was invisible online finally looks the way it deserves to: established, loved, and easy to choose.
